Mota Design partnered with Camp Xcel to host architectural design principals to campers aged 5-12. Starting with a different approach to summer camp, we linked design and design principals to the camp's focus areas of self-confidence, college/career, science, civic, computer/robotics, public safety and writing and drama by creating hour-long and hands-on workshops relating to space and shapes, what architects do, architecture in nature, big or little buildings, archi-botics, Opps, don't fall and looking through the lens. Each workshop served as a building block for the next and culminated in an end of summer team project. Some of our campers were special needs learners who most often offered extremely creative solutions during our "project challenge" workshop segment.
"We have always dreamed of having a big house in a rural area with plenty of outdoor space for our kids and large family to enjoy. Anthony and his design team at MOTA have been meticulously designing such a home on our 7.8 acre lot. They have been very patient and explained the design and construction process and have made strong design recommendations to keep us in budget. I have truly enjoyed their effort in preparing plan changes and providing visuals to ease my concerns."

"Jason, the kids, and I truly enjoyed working with Anthony and his team. This house and project was much more than we'd expected. They took the time to listen to get it the way I wanted."

"As Chief Operating Officer for Richland Library I am responsible for the construction renovation and maintenance of all our buildings. We worked with Anthony and his team on the design and renovation of our Lower Richland Library. Although that library location is small, the construction budget was still more than a quarter million dollars. Our library team's design needs were heard and incorporated in Anthony's and his team's design for our space, and the customers at the Lower Richland Library were thrilled with the creativity that was brought to life in their facility. I am especially grateful to Anthony for his cost review at the completion of each design stage to keep the project within budget. Working with him is a pleasure and I will certainly call Anthony and Mota for future design needs."
